President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stressed the importance of preserving the national state and its institutions, stressing that Arab national security is an indivisible whole.
This came on Friday during his speech at the 32nd session of the Arab Summit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
President Sisi said, "Our region has gone through, in recent years, exceptional and harsh circumstances that threatened in an unprecedented way the security and safety of our Arab peoples and raised in the hearts of millions of Arabs severe anxiety over the present and the future."
In his speech at the Arab Summit, the President added, "It has been confirmed to everyone with insight that preserving the national state and supporting its institutions is an individual imposition and a necessity of life for the future of peoples and their capabilities. turmoil, and stalemate efforts to resolve crises.
The president expressed Egypt's pride in its historical relations with Saudi arabia, and the ties that unite the two countries and the two brotherly peoples together.
He also congratulated Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Saudi Arabia's assumption of the presidency of the 32nd session of the Arab Summit, during their meeting, expressing Egypt's confidence in Saudi Arabia's success in promoting joint Arab action during the coming period.
Ahmed Fahmy, spokesman for the Presidency stated that Prince welcomed President Sisi, expressing Saudi Arabia's appreciation for Egypt's leadership and people, praising the Egyptian-Saudi relations of sincere brotherhood and close historical relations, stressing Saudi Arabia's aspiration to continue advancing the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields.
The spokesman added that the meeting touched on ways to strengthen bilateral relations and sustain the partnership between the two countries, in a way that achieves the common interest and mutual benefit of the two brotherly peoples.
