President of Ain Shams University Honors Professor Hossam El-Brombley

Professor Mohamed Shawqi Al Meteeny, President of Ain Shams University honored on Monday morning Professor Hossam El-Brombley, former head of Architecture Department at Faculty of Engineering.

Dr. El- Meteneey handed over the shield of the university to the honored professor.

Dr. El Brombley won the 2019  world medal bronze of   the best project to develop Al Sayyeda Ayesha Square, south of Cairo.

He was also honored in Rome and handed him livecom award because his paper covered 200 projects.

The jury panel spent three months to define the preferable papers to hand out the awards to different authors.

Egypt came among the three leading countries appearing on the platform of honoring.

Vice-presidents of Ain Shams University and deans of faculties and colleges attended the ceremony of honoring Dr. El Brombley.

El Brombley is ranked among the prominent architects in Egypt and the Arab world.

He has a distinguished history in designing stadiums and sports halls in Egypt and the other Arab states.

He took part in designing numerous of sports facilities.

He designed Al Dhafra FC in the United Arab Emirates and the Sports Clubs in Taga and Al Rabat, the capital city of Morocco.

In Egypt , he designed the branch of El Zohour Sporting Club in the Fifth Avenue in the north of Cairo, Sky Sports Club and Petro Sport Sports Club affiliated to Petro Sport Co.

Dr. El Brombley won the 2017 award of the Distinguished Arab  Engineer offered by the Arab Council of Operations and Maintenance, based in Lebanon.

He assumed duties of Head of Architecture and then head of the Egyptian Committee of the Code of  Operation and Maintenance.

He was chosen as a member to Jury panels of local and regional scientific journals.

He authored more than 132 research paper.

He supervised more than 100 Master and Doctorate Thesis and he referred 75 other treatises.
