President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived in UAE, today, to participate in COP28, and after his arrival, he received Kristalina Georgieva, the Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Presidency Spokesperson Ahmed Fahmy announced on Thursday.
Fahmy said that President El Sisi, and Georgieva reviewed the mutual ties between Egypt and the IMF, including the continuation of executing the program of the economic reform.
President El Sisi also appreciated the partnership between the two parties, asserting Egypt's keenness to keep its good relations with the IMF due to its positive impacts on investment, and markets.
He added that the ties with the IMF can create wider horizons for investors, asserting Egypt's continuation of enhancing the reforms related to the fiscal, and monetary policies, in addition to increasing the role of the private sector in development.
