Moments ago, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi performed Eid Al Fitr prayers at the El-Mosheer Tantawy mosque in New Cairo.
During the prayers, the head of the state was joined by sons martyrs from the army and police, General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Speaker of Egypt’s House of Representatives Ali Abdel Aal, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, alongside a number of high-ranking state ministers and officials.
It is worth mentioning that Egypt’s Dar Al-Iftaa announced that Wednesday, June 5, 2019, will mark the first day of Eid Al Fitr in Egypt.

Meanwhile, President El Sisi, after prayers, will shortly attend a ceremony organized by the Ministry of Defense attended especially by the families of the Martyrs.
Earlier, President El Sisi exchanged Eid greeting calls with leaders from the Arab and Islamic world, according to the spokesperson Ambassador Bassam Rady.
