Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese will lead Saturday the Easter Mass at Saint Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Abbassiya, in attendance of a delegate of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and a host of ministers and top officials.
Yesterday, Pope Tawadros II led the mass of Good Friday at the Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Cairo's Abbassiya district.
Bishops, along with thousands of worshipers have attended the mass.
Good Friday is a Christian holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary.
