Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese led the Sunday mass at the newly-inaugurated Holy Virgin Of Zeitoun Coptic Orthodox Church in Vienna.
The event was attended by a large number of priests and Copts in Austria, where the pope delivered a sermon about the importance of good-doing for the afterlife in lockstep with saints.
On his part, Egyptian Ambassador in Vienna Mohamed Mulla said the pope will hold meetings with a number of religious figures in Austria concerned with dialogue issues.
The pope started his two-week visit Thursday during which he witnessed the inauguration of churches and is scheduled to attend the European Youth Conference next Thursday.
