Pope Tawadros II extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha, expressing his wishes for continuous prosperity and stability for Egypt and its people.
The Pope sent a congratulatory cable to the Prime Minister, stating,"On behalf of myself and the Egyptian Coptic Orthodox Church, it gives me great pleasure to extend to Your Excellency and to all our Muslim loved ones our most sincere and heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha."
Pope Tawadros added in his cable: "We pray to God to grant you abundant health and to bless your endeavors on the path of developing Egypt in all fields."
The Pope concluded his cable by praying that God protects Egypt and its people, and perpetually bestows the blessings of security and peace upon the nation.
