Pope Francis praised "wisdom" of the Mongolian people, warning the country's emerging democracy againest dangers such as corruption and environmental devastation.
The Pope also hailed ongolia for its religious tolerance and nuclear-free policy, noting that religions can represent a protection against the insidious threat of corruption, which effectively poses a series of dangers to the development of any human society.
On Friday, Pope Francis arrived in Mongolia on the first papal visit to the Asian country that lies between China and Russia.
He was received with an official reception ceremony, which included a battalion of Mongolian knights wearing metal armor as they marched in front of the state palace.
