Polish President Andrzej Duda arrived in Kyiv today, Saturday, to participate in the 33rd Independence Day celebrations of Ukraine.
According to Radio Poland in its English-language broadcast, President Duda laid a wreath at a memorial wall near St. Michael's Golden-Domed Cathedral in the capital, Kyiv. This visit marks the fifth time the Polish president has visited Ukraine since the start of the Russian military operation in late February 2022.
Ukraine's Independence Day, commemorated on August 24th, marks the country's independence from the former Soviet Union in 1991.
