Senior Polish presidential official Marcin Mastalryk announced on Thursday that President Andrzej Duda and his Prime Minister Donald Tusk will visit the United States (US) to meet with President Joe Biden on March 12.
Polish President's most prominent aides said that the timing of this visit, which coincides with the twenty-fifth anniversary of Poland's accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), is the best moment to demonstrate the alliance's unity.
Duda, Tusk and Biden are expected to confirm during their meeting in Washington next Tuesday their firm support for defending Ukraine in its war against Russia, according to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
