Polish President Andrzej Duda discussed with his Kenyan counterpart, William Ruto, strengthening bilateral political and economic relations and global security challenges amid the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
During a joint press conference, Duda expressed his hope that his visit to Kenya would serve as an incentive for the development of Polish-Kenyan economic cooperation, in addition to progress in science and research, noting that his visit to the country is the first for a Polish president since Establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries 61 years ago.
For his part, Kenyan President, he stressed that Poland is viewed in Kenya as a "valuable partner, saying, "we share common values, ambitions and aspirations that guide our current and future relations."
It is worth mentioning that, Duda is currently on a six-day tour to Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania, where he will focus on political talks and efforts to strengthen trade relations.
