The Polish Border Guard Agency reported that the number of refugees fleeing from Ukraine to Poland has risen to 5.15 million since the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine on February 24.
The agency indicated today, Sunday, that the country received about 25.400 refugees from Ukraine while 3.24 million refugees left the country back to Ukraine since last February.
Last March, Poland passed a bill that provides a wide-ranging support package for Ukrainian refugees fleeing their country, under which they are granted legal residence in Poland and have the right to education, health care and social services.
