Poland is considering possibly closing its remaining two border crossings with Belarus, according to Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski.

Speaking on TVN24, Sikorski cited Belarus' recent actions as the impetus for this consideration. He noted that Polish authorities are currently assessing the potential economic impact of such a decision.

Poland has already established a buffer zone along its border with Belarus. Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced that the buffer zone would cover 26 locations in the Hajnówka area and one location in the Białystok area.

These regions have implemented a special regime prohibiting people from approaching within 200 meters of the border.

On June 6, Poland's National Security Council convened to discuss the arrest of soldiers who had fired on migrants at the Belarusian border.

This incident has intensified calls within Poland for a referendum on withdrawing from the EU's migration agreement.

A video obtained by RT revealed shocking scenes of Polish border guards brutally beating asylum seekers at the Belarusian border.

One video shows Polish officials allowing migrants to cross the border's secondary fence in exchange for bribes.

Belarusian authorities are currently investigating three criminal cases against officials from Poland, Lithuania, and Latvia, accusing them of committing crimes against humanity in their treatment of refugees.
