Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, met Saturday with Mr. Ignazio Cassis, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, at the Bürgenstock Resort in Switzerland.
During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them.
They also discussed the latest regional developments, particularly the diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting security and stability in the region following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Iran.
Qatari PM reaffirmed Qatar's full support for the commencement of negotiations between the US and Iranian sides.
He also emphasized the importance of reaching sustainable solutions to outstanding issues through dialogue and peaceful means to enhance regional security, contribute to opening new horizons for cooperation, development, and prosperity, and achieve the common interests of the peoples of the region and the world.
