PM receives Libyan counterpart

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, received Dr. Osama Hamad, Prime Minister of the Libyan Government, accompanied by Belkacem Haftar, Director General of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund, and Engineer Hatem Al-Araibi, Chairman of the Reconstruction and Stability Committee, and Director of the Medical Supply and Treatment Services Authority of the Libyan Government. 

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly stressed the full support for the brotherly Libyan people, and Egypt’s keenness to support and enhance ways of bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries in all fields, pointing out to the great role played by Egyptian companies in the reconstruction work in Libya.

For his part, Dr. Osama Hamad appreciated the permanent Egyptian support for the Libyan people, in light of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to provide all necessary support and assistance to the brotherly Libyan people to mitigate the effects and repercussions of Hurricane Daniel.

The meeting focused on ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields, and the contribution of Egyptian companies to the reconstruction efforts in Libya.
