Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly is scheduled to participate on Wednesday, May 20, in a major event organized by the Ministry of Education and Technical Education in cooperation with UNICEF Egypt and the Office of the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Egypt.
The event will present a comprehensive study reviewing Egypt’s education reform efforts over the past two years, highlighting progress in developing the country’s educational system and advancing learning quality across multiple sectors.
The conference is expected to focus on modernization plans, technical education, digital transformation in schools, teacher development, and policies aimed at improving educational outcomes in line with Egypt’s long-term development goals.
The participation of international organizations, including UNICEF and United Nations agencies, reflects continued international cooperation supporting educational reform and human development initiatives in Egypt.
On the same day, Prime Minister Madbouly will also chair the government’s weekly cabinet meeting to review national preparations for Eid al-Adha, including service readiness, supply availability, transportation plans, and coordination among state institutions ahead of the holiday season.
Egypt has accelerated efforts in recent years to reform the education sector through curriculum modernization, technology integration, expansion of technical education, and partnerships with international institutions to improve competitiveness and workforce readiness.
