Prime Minister (PM) Mostafa Madbouly met his Palestinian counterpart Muhammad Shtayyeh, on the sidelines of COP27 climate conference in Sharm El-Sheikh.
During the meeting, Madbouly stressed that Egypt's support for the Palestinian cause is one of the Egyptian foreign policy's constants over decades, and Egypt will continue to defend the rights of the Palestinian people in all regional and international forums.
On his part, the Palestinian PM expressed his deep appreciation for Egypt's leading role in defending Palestinian people's rights, stressing Palestine's pride in Egypt's historical support for the Palestinian cause.
The meeting also touched on the overall bilateral relations between Egypt and the Palestinian Authority.
