Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, met yesterday evening with Nana Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana, on the sidelines of his participation on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in the activities of the sixth session of the mid-year coordination meeting of the African Union, which is being held in the Ghanaian capital, Accra. 

At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality during his first visit to the Republic of Ghana, conveying to the Ghanaian President the greetings of His Excellency Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and his great support for Ghana’s efforts and its effective role.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly pointed out to the depth of the historical relations between the two countries, and the good ties that bring together the political leadership in the two friendly countries.

The Prime Minister pointed out that there are 24 Egyptian companies operating in Ghana, in various fields, expressing his aspiration to benefit from the promising opportunities to develop relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, the President of the Republic of Ghana welcomed Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, stressing the strength of relations between the two countries, expressing his aspiration to strengthen relations between the two sides in all fields, taking into account the important role played by Egyptian companies working in the field of mining, infrastructure and construction.
