Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly wished the Egypt national football team success in its upcoming FIFA World Cup Round of 32 match against Australia national soccer team, scheduled for Friday in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Speaking at the start of the government's weekly press conference following the Cabinet meeting in the New Administrative Capital, Madbouly expressed hope that Egypt, led by head coach Hossam Hassan, will secure victory in the match.
He noted that the fixture carries special significance as Egypt has reached the World Cup Round of 32 for the first time in the tournament's history.
