Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly departed from Cairo International Airport this morning, en route to Davos, Switzerland, to represent President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2025.

The forum, held under the theme "Cooperation for the Smart Era," runs from January 20 to 24 and brings together global leaders, policymakers, and innovators to address pressing global challenges and opportunities.

This year’s forum features a diverse array of participants, including heads of state and government, representatives of international organizations, senior executives from leading global corporations, entrepreneurs, and pioneers in technology and innovation. 

The event serves as a platform for fostering collaboration and shaping strategies for sustainable development and technological advancement.

Prime Minister Madbouly is scheduled to participate in several key events on the forum's agenda, focusing on economic cooperation, technology integration, and sustainable development. 

On the sidelines, he will hold bilateral meetings with Arab and international government officials to discuss pressing challenges and opportunities for enhanced collaboration. 

Additionally, he will meet with executives and representatives from global companies across various vital sectors to explore avenues for investment and mutual cooperation.

The Prime Minister’s participation underscores Egypt's commitment to engaging with the international community to address global economic challenges and to positioning itself as a key player in shaping the future of the smart era.
