Prime Minister (PM) Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and his Lebanese counterpart Dr. Nawaf Salam will hold a bilateral discussion tomorrow, followed by the convening of the 10th Session of the Egyptian-Lebanese Joint Higher Committee, co-chaired by Prime Ministers (PMs) of the two countries.
The session will include discussions and a review of several files and issues of mutual interest.
A number of Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) and cooperation protocols will also be signed between the two countries across various sectors, as part of the effort to consolidate cooperation during the upcoming phase.
Earlier today, Madbouly received Lebanese PM Dr. Nawaf Salam at Cairo International Airport.
Dr. Salam arrived in Cairo leading a high-level official delegation to attend the meetings of the Joint Egyptian-Lebanese Higher Committee.
Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Eng. Sherif El Sherbiny, attended the reception ceremony.
Upon his arrival at Cairo International Airport, a formal welcoming ceremony was held for Dr. Nawaf Salam and his accompanying delegation, featuring the playing of the national anthems of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the sisterly Republic of Lebanon, followed by a review of the Guard of Honor.
