Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly conducted a field follow-up of the final touches in preparation for the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) inauguration ceremony, scheduled for next Saturday.
He was accompanied by Sherif Fathy, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities; Counselor Omar Marwan, Director of the Presidential Office; Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the Museum Authority; and Mohamed El-Saady, Board Member of the United Media Services and General Supervisor of the opening ceremony.

PM affirmed that this tour aimed to confirm the final preparations by the agencies concerned with organizing the GEM inauguration ceremony.
This is in execution of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for effective coordination among these entities "to ensure the ceremony is presented in a manner commensurate with Egypt's status and civilizational heritage, and reflects an exceptional image of the achievements of the Egyptian State," particularly regarding the development work carried out in the area surrounding the museum.
*PM Tours Museum to Monitor Preparations and Exhibition Halls
During his tour, Dr. Madbouly was briefed on aspects of the celebration's preparation activities and the arrangements for receiving the anticipated delegations participating in the forthcoming opening ceremony.
He also reviewed the status of ongoing preparations inside the Grand Egyptian Museum and its various exhibition halls.
*Comprehensive Development of Roads, Axes Leading to the Museum, and Enhanced Visual Identity
Madbouly proceeded to inspect the final works related to the development and enhancement of the roads and major axes leading to the museum, focusing on improving their efficiency and strengthening their visual identity.
This included the beautification of squares, intensified paving, landscaping, general coordination efforts, and the activation and brilliance of nighttime lighting systems.

Concluding his tour, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly pointed out that "the world is anticipating what Egypt will present next Saturday" during the monumental Grand Egyptian Museum inauguration ceremony, which will be attended by a large number of world leaders, foreign delegations, and prominent figures from various countries.
Therefore, he stressed the need to ensure the absolute readiness of all arrangements and preparations associated with this massive event.
