Prime Minister (PM) Mostafa Madbouly announced that a comprehensive roadmap for developing the media sector will be finalized soon, in accordance with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and will be presented to him in preparation for its implementation.
He explained that during the next Cabinet meeting, approval will be given to the criteria and priorities for eligible recipients of alternative housing units under the Old Rent Law.
Speaking at a press conference at the Cabinet headquarters, Madbouly said the government had approved the rules and operational framework for committees tasked with surveying areas containing residential units rented under the Old Rent Law.
He emphasized that the evaluation will be based on a points system, assigning specific scores to each of the main criteria and standards for classification.
He added that a meeting of the governors will be held on Saturday to begin activating these committees.
