Prime Minister (PM) Mostafa Madbouly announced that Egypt received 15.7 million tourists this year, emphasizing the country's ambitious targets for the tourism sector.

During a press conference at the Cabinet, he pointed out to the significant growth across all sectors of the Egyptian economy, highlighting increased participation and contributions from the private sector in investments.

Moreove, PM invited private sector players in the textile industry to engage and invest in this sector, reaffirming the state’s commitment to maximizing its assets rather than selling them.

He also revealed that Egypt received the first tranche of European Union funding, amounting to €1 billion, which was deposited into the Central Bank last Friday.

Reflecting on the past year, Madbouly acknowledged the domestic and global challenges faced, stating that Egypt successfully overcame them.

He also stated that Egypt managed to meet $39 billion of its financial obligations and confirmed that the country has strategic plans to fulfill its future commitments.
