Prime Minister (PM) Moustafa Madbouly departed Cairo International Airport early this morning, heading to New York, United States, to lead Egypt’s delegation on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at the Two-State Solution Conference and the opening of the high-level segment of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, held under the theme: “Together Better: 80 Years and Beyond for Peace, Development, and Human Rights.”
PM's agenda during his visit to New York includes participating in the opening session of the high-level meetings of the UN General Assembly.
He will also deliver Egypt’s statements at both the high-level meeting marking the 30th anniversary of the World Conference on Women, and the international high-level conference on the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian question and the implementation of the Two-State Solution.
In addition, Madbouly is scheduled to attend several side events and meetings and to hold bilateral talks with leaders of brotherly and friendly nations, as well as representatives of regional and international organizations.
