Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly held a meeting to follow up on the logistical preparations for the opening celebrations of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).
During the meeting, Prime Minister noted that it comes as part of ongoing follow-up on all logistical procedures and preparations for the GEM’s opening celebrations. This follows directives from the political leadership to ensure full readiness to receive official delegations and Egypt’s guests attending the official inauguration, in a manner that reflects the deep heritage, history, and civilization of the Egyptian state.
According to the Mohamed El-Homsany, the official spokesperson for the Cabinet, the meeting discussed the follow-up on logistical arrangements for the GEM’s opening celebrations, starting with sending invitations to kings, presidents, princes, and senior officials, and covering the details of the three-day celebration agenda and the proposed segments.
