Egypt will continue implementing its comprehensive economic reform program despite ongoing global and regional challenges, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said, reaffirming the government’s commitment to sustaining economic stability and growth.

According to local media reports, Madbouly stressed that the state is pressing ahead with structural reforms aimed at strengthening macroeconomic indicators, boosting investment, and enhancing the role of the private sector. He underscored that the reform agenda is a long-term national priority designed to build a more resilient and competitive economy.

The prime minister also highlighted  the impact of recent economic measures, noting that these reforms are essential to correcting structural imbalances and ensuring sustainable development.

Egypt’s economic reform efforts, supported in part by international partners including the International Monetary Fund, have included measures such as currency adjustments, fiscal consolidation, and efforts to expand private sector participation.

Madbouly emphasized that the government remains focused on balancing reform implementation with social protection programs, aiming to mitigate the burden on citizens while maintaining progress toward economic recovery and long-term growth.

He added that Egypt is working to build on the gains achieved so far, with plans extending toward a broader development strategy that supports national economic independence and inclusive growth.
