Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said that the Egypt  Economic Conference 2022 comes in the midst of a global crisis that the countries of the world have not witnessed since World War II.

During his speech at the economic conference in the presence of President El Sisi, Madbouly indicated that all governments of developed and economically advanced countries are rushing to survive and ensure the stability of his country.

The Prime Minister added that Egypt is not immune from these countries, as it was classified by all international institutions as one of the countries most affected by this global crisis.

He stressed that the conference aims to come up with a clear roadmap for this economy during the coming period.

The conference is organized by the Egyptian government during the period from 23 to 25 October, commissioned by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, in the new administrative capital.

The conference discusses the conditions and future of the Egyptian economy, with the wide participation of a group of senior economists, thinkers, and specialized experts.

The conference agenda is packed with many sessions and events over its three days, according to three main tracks.

The first track includes macroeconomic policies, while the second track focuses on empowering the private sector and creating a business environment.

The third is devoted to formulating a future roadmap for priority sectors in the government's work program for the coming period.

This track witnesses the holding of a number of interactive time sessions that discuss the insights and ideas of experts on what policies are required.

The conference also discusses achieving national goals in a number of priority sectors for the Egyptian economy and the nature of the procedures required to overcome the existing challenges facing these sectors.
