Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly issued a decree declaring Thursday, July 2, 2026, an official paid holiday for ministries, government departments, public authorities, local administration units, public sector companies, and public business sector companies.
This holiday comes in place of Tuesday, June 30, 2026, on the occasion of the anniversary of the June 30 Revolution.
Academic examinations will continue as scheduled by the competent authorities.
