The Egyptian State, according to Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly, has been working hard to organise the 12th World Urban Forum (WUF) after hosting the successful COP27 UN Climate Change Conference the previous year.
Madbouly continued, "Egypt has gained more experience and increased its confidence after hosting COP27, this globally significant and significant event, to hold the WUF's new edition in collaboration with UN-Habitat.
The executive director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), Maimunah Sharif, and the premier met on Sunday, according to a statement from the cabinet's media centre.
Madbouly reaffirmed that the UN-Habitat delegation's visit to Egypt to formally announce the commencement of executive steps for Egypt's hosting the event was appreciated by the Egyptian government.
