During the weekly cabinet meeting held today at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly extended his heartfelt thanks and appreciation, on behalf of himself and the cabinet members, to our national football team—including the technical staff, players, and administrators—for their heroic performance and the unprecedented results achieved in the ongoing FIFA World Cup.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Association for their dedicated efforts in the recent period.
PM stated, "We are proud of you... and we thank you all for the joy and happiness you brought to the Egyptian, Arab, and African peoples, as well as to fans across the globe. Despite all the challenges, you have been an honorable model for Egyptian football. In yesterday's match, you were a fierce opponent against the former world champion, earning the respect and appreciation of football experts worldwide."
Furthermore, Madbouly extended his deep gratitude to all friendly nations, officials, and peoples who supported our national team throughout the tournament, in a spectacle that brought immense joy to all Egyptians.
He also thanked the Egyptian fans, both at home and abroad, who rallied behind the team in the stadiums and at their residency.
