Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly chaired on Monday the meeting of the Supreme Committee for the Management of the Emerging Coronavirus Crisis, via "video conference" technology, in the presence of a number of ministers and officials.
The meeting discussed the latest developments regarding the Coronavirus and the government's preparation for the second wave of the virus, in light of the lockdowns in a number of countries due to the high number of cases.
It addressed ways of developing Coronavirus vaccines globally, and the clinical trials in Egypt with the Chinese company.
Madbouly said that everyone must adhere to anti-Coronavirus measures such as wearing the mask, and taking into account social distancing, noting that a number of countries have resorted to imposing full lockdowns.
