Prime Minister (PM) Dr. Mostafa Madbouly has just cast his vote in the 2025 House of Representatives elections at the sub-committee inside the Japanese School in Sheikh Zayed.
Voters have started arriving and queuing up at the Japanese School in Sheikh Zayed, which belongs to Giza Governorate, turning out in large numbers at the electoral committees that opened their doors this Monday morning for citizens to cast their votes on the first day of the first stage of the 2025 House of Representatives elections.
Male and female voters lined up in a long queue in front of the school in preparation for entering and casting their votes.
The voting procedures in the Sheikh Zayed Japanese School constituency begin with the judges supervising the elections formally recording the opening procedures of the committee in official minutes, confirming the ballot boxes and the tools used for voting, and then allowing voters to enter.
Upon entering the committee, the voter presents their national ID card to the head of the committee to confirm their identity, that they belong to the electoral constituency, and that their name is on the voter lists.
The employee assisting the head of the committee then records the voter's attendance.
The voter receives two ballot papers from the judge: one containing the names and electoral symbols of the candidates under the individual system, and the second containing the names of the candidates under the list system and its electoral symbol.
The voter then casts their vote behind the curtain.
