Prime Minister (PM) Dr. Mostafa Madbouly attended an official dinner hosted by the Chinese President and his wife.
Dr. Madbouly continues his visit to China for the second consecutive day, representing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at the China-Africa Cooperation Forum (FOCAC), which runs from September 4 to 6, with the participation of numerous heads of state and governments.
On the sidelines of the summit, Madbouly is holding several meetings with Chinese and African officials, as well as with executives from prominent Chinese companies, including those operating in the Egyptian market.
During his visit, PM will witness the signing of several important documents related to new or ongoing investments.
Upon his arrival in Beijing, Madbouly held a meeting with Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, followed by an official working dinner attended by Ambassador Asem Hanafi, Egypt's Ambassador to China, Ambassador Liao Liqiang, China's Ambassador to Egypt, Ambassador Mohamed Abou El-Wafa, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for African Organizations and Assemblies Affairs, along with several senior Chinese officials.
