PM Arrives in Jeddah for Hajj Rituals

Saudi Press Agency "SPA" has confirmed the arrival of the Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, in Jeddah, to participate in the annual Hajj pilgrimage.

Upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport, he was warmly welcomed by Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Mecca region, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Qarni, the Deputy Mayor of Jeddah, Major General Sulaiman bin Omar Al-Tuwairib, the Director of Jeddah Governorate Police, and Ahmed Abdullah bin Dhafer, Director of the Royal Protocols in the Mecca region.

Prime Minister Madbouly's visit for the Hajj signifies the continued strengthening of religious ties between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, adding to the deeply entrenched cultural and political relationships the two countries share. The participation of high-level officials in these religious rites underlines the importance of Hajj in the Islamic world and re-emphasizes its position as a vital pillar of Islam.

In line with the traditions, the Prime Minister is expected to perform the spiritual rites that include Tawaf (circumambulation around the Kaaba), Sa'ee (walking between the hills of Safa and Marwah), and standing on the plains of Mount Arafat. This sacred journey is a key component of a Muslim's faith and signifies their submission to Allah. The completion of Hajj is an experience many Muslims aspire to and is a testament to their faith and dedication.
