Prime Minister (PM) Mostafa Madbouly has just arrived at Beijing International Airport to participate on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit, which is being held from September 4th to 6th, with the attendance of numerous heads of state and government leaders.
Upon his arrival at the airport, Madbouly was warmly received by Sun Yeli, Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China; Ambassador Assem Hanafi, Egypt's Ambassador to China; and Ambassador Liao Liqiang, China's Ambassador to Egypt.
The welcoming ceremony was marked by great hospitality and artistic performances, with a bouquet of flowers presented to Egyptian PM.
During the summit, PM will have a packed schedule of events, including attending the opening session of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and several high-level sessions.
He will deliver an important speech during a session titled "Industrial Transformation, Agricultural Modernization, and Green Development."
On the sidelines of the summit, PM is expected to hold multiple meetings with Chinese and African officials, as well as with executives from major Chinese companies, including those operating in the Egyptian market.
Additionally, Madbouly is scheduled to witness the signing of several important documents related to new or existing investments during the visit.
