Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has issued a decision declaring Wednesday, January 7, an official paid public holiday on the occasion of Coptic Christmas.
The holiday will apply to employees of ministries, government authorities, public bodies, local administrative units, public sector companies, and state-owned business sector companies.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister extended his heartfelt congratulations to all Egyptian Christians, both inside and outside the country. He expressed his sincere wishes that this blessed celebration would return upon all Egyptians with goodness, and upon Egypt with continued security, stability, progress, and prosperity.
