Prime Minister (PM) Dr. Mostafa Madbouly has issued a decree declaring Thursday, January 29, 2026, an official paid holiday for employees in ministries, government departments, public authorities, local administration units, public sector companies, public business sector companies, and the private sector.
This holiday is granted in observance of the January 25 Revolution and Police Day, as a replacement for Sunday, January 25, 2026.
The decree stipulated that examinations will proceed as scheduled by the competent authorities.
