Prime Minister (PM) Dr. Mostafa Madbouly stated that the African Trade Centre will work to attract foreign direct investment and reduce imports.
During his speech at the event announcing the establishment of the African Trade Centre, affiliated with the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), PM added, "Egypt strives to be a main gateway and hub between Africa and the West."
Moreover, Madbouly stressed, "Egypt supports economic cooperation, strengthening relations with the African continent, and achieving sustainable growth. The African Trade Centre creates good opportunities for many economic sectors in Egypt."
