House of Representatives Member Tarek Radwan, Chairman of the Human Rights Committee, received a delegation from the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) for the Department of Human Rights and Civil Society, headed by MP Ahmed Saeed Al-Tamimi.
The meeting was attended by MP Ayman Aboul Ela - Deputy of the Human Rights Committee and MP Mohamed Sultan, Member of the Committee

The PLO delegation, included: Hossam Awad- Undersecretary of the Department of Human Rights and Civil Society, Alaa Samir Melitat - Legal Counsellor, Rizk Al-Zaanin - Senior Advisor at the Palestine Delegation and Tarek Fanous - responsible for the communication file with the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Embassy of Palestine.
Radwan affirmed that Egypt has never failed to support the Palestinian cause since 1948, adding that "Cairo is always backing the Palestinian people."

"Egypt helped reach a cease-fire agreement recently and guaranteed the return of calm to the Palestinian territories," he noted.
The Egyptian Parliament’s condemnation of the Israeli crimes committed against Al-Quds and the Palestinian people was also noted, pointing out to the Senate's allocation of part of its parliamentary session to condemn the Israeli attacks against the Palestinian people.
Members of the Parliament’s Human Rights Committee stressed the importance of the Egyptian role towards the Palestinian cause throughout history.
