A small plane was forced to make an emergency landing on a busy street in Gainesville, Georgia, colliding with three cars. No serious injuries were reported.
Videos show the single-engine aircraft attempting the emergency landing in the middle of the busy street shortly after takeoff.
Investigators reported that a mechanical failure in the engine prevented the plane from returning to the airport, forcing the pilot to land on the road.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have launched investigations to determine the cause of the malfunction.
