A “Pitch Perfect” spin-off series has been ordered at Peacock with Adam Devine set to reprise his role from the movie franchise.
The series will take place several years after the events of the movies.
Devine returns as Bumper Allen, who moves to Germany to revive his music career when one of his songs becomes big in Berlin.
Bumper was the main antagonist of the first move and the leader of the all-male a cappella group, "The Treblemakers". The actor returned in the second movie as a supporting character and the love interest of Rebel Wilson’s character, Fat Amy.

Brownstone and Gold Circle produced the “Pitch Perfect” franchise, with Banks directing “Pitch Perfect 2″ and appearing in all three movies.
Inspired by the Mickey Rapkin book of the same name, the first “Pitch Perfect” movie was released in 2012, with the third and final movie released in 2017. The franchise grossed nearly $600 million worldwide.
Along with Devine and Wilson, the franchise also starred Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, and Hailee Steinfeld.
Aside from his work in “Pitch Perfect”, Devine also starred in movies such as “Game Over, Man!”, “Isn’t It Romantic”, “Jexi”, “Magic Camp”, and “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates”.
