As the sun set on the ninth day of Dhul-Hijjah, pilgrims proceeded to Muzdalifah after completing the standing at Arafat and performing the most important pillar of Hajj. This was made possible by a comprehensive system of services, organizational measures, and preventative procedures provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to enable the pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and tranquility.
Upon their arrival in Muzdalifah, the pilgrims performed the Maghrib and Isha prayers combined and shortened, following the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and spent the night there. The following morning, the day of Eid al-Adha, they will proceed to Mina to perform the stoning of Jamarat al-Aqaba and the sacrifice of their sacrificial animals.
