On 18 and 19 January, Orthodox Christians in the East are annually celebrating the Epiphany which is the day when the revelation of God incarnates Jesus Christ. It also refers to the day of Jesus Christ's Baptism as John the Baptist washed him in the pure water of the Jordan River as a symbol of purity.
