“Bridgerton” leading actress Phoebe Dynevor, who plays Daphne Bridgerton on the record-breaking Netflix hit, has found her next project.
Dynevor closed a deal to executive produce and star in "Exciting Times", a series in development at Amazon Studios that explores contemporary romance with a twist.
The project is based on Irish writer Naoise Dolan’s debut novel and hailed from U.S. financier-producer Black Bear Pictures.
Cooper Raiff will direct the series, who will also co-write the TV adaptation along with Dolan.
"Exciting Times" centers around Ava, an Irish transplant abroad teaching English grammar to wealthy children, who become entangled in a love triangle between two inpiduals.
Dynevor, Dolan, and Raiff will executive produce alongside Black Bear’s Teddy Schwarzman, Ben Stillman, and Michael Heimler. Black Bear’s Clementine Quittner and Sleena Wilson will also serve as co-producers.
Moreover, the British actress had recently signed on to star in Sony Pictures’ "I Heart Murder".
She will also star in Sky Cinema’s original movie "The Colour Room", opposite Mathew Goode.
