Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Iran’s temporary leadership council has agreed not to launch attacks against neighboring countries unless an attack against Iran originates from their territory, stressing that Tehran holds no hostility toward regional states.
Speaking about Iran’s regional policy, Pezeshkian said the temporary leadership council approved a decision to avoid military action against neighboring nations unless they are used as a base for attacks on Iran.
He also offered an apology to neighboring countries, emphasizing that Iran has no intention of confronting them and seeks to maintain stable relations within the region.
The Iranian president added that Iran remains committed to international law and humanitarian principles, stressing that its adversaries should understand that expectations of Iran’s surrender will never be realized.
He also insisted that no party has the right to ignore Iran’s rights under international law.
Pezeshkian further expressed gratitude to the Iranian people for their support during the current crisis, calling for national unity.
He urged citizens to put aside internal differences and stand together in defending the country, affirming that Iran will remain steadfast until it overcomes the challenges it currently faces.
