The Wall Street Journal, citing the Pentagon, reported that 400 U.S. service members have been injured during the war against Iran.

The U.S. Department of Defense specified the casualties as follows: 271 from the Infantry, 64 from the Navy, 19 from the Marines, and 46 from the Air Force.

Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal quoted Pakistani officials stating they still hope both the U.S. and Iranian sides will agree on de-escalation and reconvene for talks.

A White House spokesperson stated that Iran’s defense industrial base has been "almost completely destroyed," adding that Iran’s capability to build and stockpile ballistic missiles and long-range drones has been set back by years.

A Pakistani official further expressed that his country remains optimistic regarding the Islamabad negotiations between the United States and Iran.
