Sources in the administration of US President Joe Biden revealed that the Department of Defense (Pentagon) is working on a plan to provide Ukraine with updated intelligence so that it can respond quickly to possible Russian actions.

The New York Times quoted sources in the US administration as saying that the intelligence transferred to Ukraine will include images that will show whether Russian forces are moving to cross the border. Such intelligence, if published in a timely manner, would enable the Ukrainian army to repel an attack.

An informed source confirmed to the newspaper that the US intelligence services are already providing Kiev with access to large amounts of intelligence, according to Russia Today (RT).

The newspaper, citing US officials, reported that the provision of intelligence may lead to the fact that Ukraine is the first to be attacked.

Kiev and Western countries have recently expressed concern about allegations of "aggressive moves" by Russia near the Ukraine borders.

For its part, Russia has consistently stressed that it moves its forces within its territory and at its own discretion and does not represent a threat to any party.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia’s military actions inside its territory do not pose a threat to anyone and should not worry anyone.

Russia has repeatedly denied the accusations made by the West and Ukraine and said that the words "Russian aggression" are used as a pretext to place more NATO military equipment near the Russian border.
