The Pentagon announced a new military aid package for Ukraine, worth $460 million, which will include air traffic control services, Javelin anti-tank missile systems, and HIMARS rocket launchers.

According to the statement, the aid package also includes 155 mm artillery shells, 120 mm mortar shells, about 2,000 anti-tank missiles, 4 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, spare parts, and other equipment.

US President Joe Biden arrived in Kyiv today, Monday, on a surprise visit, during which he met his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and announced additional military and financial aid packages to Ukraine.

Earlier today, the White House announced that Biden pledged to provide a new military aid package to Ukraine worth $500 million, to be announced within days.

Russia had previously sent a memorandum to NATO countries over the supply of weapons to Ukraine, and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov indicated that any shipment containing weapons to Ukraine would become a legitimate target for Russia.

Ukraine has received huge financial and military aid from Western countries, led by the US and other Western countries, since the start of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that Russia does not plan to occupy Ukrainian lands. He explained that Russia's goal is to protect people who have been subjected to persecution and genocide over the past 8 years by the Kyiv regime.
