Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the US House of Representatives, warned of any attempt by President Donald Trump and his supporters to violate democratic values during the presidential elections scheduled for next November.

Pelosi tweeted that President Trump and his followers threatened not to accept the election results, stressing that it is the responsibility of the American people to do everything they can to protect the integrity of their democracy."

Earlier, Pelosi mourned US Supreme Court judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who passed away at the age of 87, due to complications after suffering from pancreatic cancer.

She tweeted to confirm that the late US Supreme Court judge left a tremendous impact on the United States.

She added she hopes her memory will be a blessing and inspire each American citizen to work towards a more equal and just future for all."

News agencies quoted statements made by Pelosi on the program "This Week" aired on the American "ABC" television network, in which she said: "President Donald Trump is rushing to replace the late Supreme Court Dean, Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg, because he wants to crush The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

The US Supreme Court had announced the death of Ginsberg, at the age of 87, due to complications after suffering from pancreatic cancer.

The late judge was known for her strong defense of women's rights, and she took her seat on the Supreme Court in August of 1993.

The death of Ginsberg gives Trump the opportunity to expand the conservative majority in the Supreme Court by appointing a third judge.

As the presidential election approaches, the judges departure may significantly alter the ideological balance of the court, which currently has a conservative majority, by shifting it further to the right.

On the other hand, Trump had attacked Pelosi for inviting her several weeks ago to visit the "Chinese city" of San Francisco despite an outbreak of the Corona virus, calling it crazy.

Trump posted on his account "Twitter," a video documenting Pelosi's remarks on February 24, saying that being in the "Chinese city" is safe given the precautionary measures taken.

Trump commented on the video, writing: "Crazy Nancy Pelosi deleted this clip from her Twitter account. She wanted everyone to crowd into the Chinese city after it closed the border with China."

"She is an unqualified third-degree politician."

Pelosi's office previously reported that her comments came a day before the announcement of the closure of the Chinese city in San Francisco, the first measure of its kind in the United States.

Pelosi has been a third victim of Trump's recent accusations of taking responsibility for the epidemiological situation in the United States, which is the world's first country in terms of infections and deaths from the emerging Coronavirus.

He also criticized China, accusing it of misleading the international community about the start of the outbreak of the virus, as well as the World Health Organization, that he accused of siding with the Chinese authorities in their actions.

He claimed that the Chinese government had provided wrong information to the United States. As a result, the American President announced recently to stop funding this international institution despite the pandemic continues.

The main two parties in the USA try to bring their candidate to the White House, headquarter of the presidency.
